Airo Security Said: Longmont City Council, Transportation Advisory Committee to

Longmont’s City Council, members of Longmont’s Transportation Advisory Board and representatives of the Regional Transportation District have scheduled a joint Monday night meeting to discuss short- and long-term goals for RTD services in and to the Longmont area.

Participants in the virtual 7 p.m. meeting, which the public should be able to watch through an internet broadcast via the agenda portal once it begins, are to include RTD CEO and General Manager Debra Johnson, RTD District I board member Erik Davidson, District O board member Lynn Guissinger and Bill Van Meter, the transit agency’s assistant general manager of planning, as well as Longmont City Council and Longmont Transportation Advisory Committee members.

District I, which Broomfield resident Davidson represents on the RTD board, includes most of Longmont, Lafayette, all of Broomfield and Erie within RTD’s service area, a portion of Thornton, and portions of unincorporated Adams County and Boulder County.  District O, which Boulder resident Guissinger represents, includes part of southwest Longmont, Boulder, Louisville, Superior, Nederland, Jamestown, Ward, Lyons and most of unincorporated Boulder County west of 95th Street.

Monday’s meeting agenda — along with a link people can use to watch its video broadcast once it gets underway — can be viewed at tinyurl.com/y5sgyjn8s.
